Varela Morales Cuban
Conclusions: Considered the father of our culture, Varela generated a school of thought, a style of social coexistence and an attitude towards the motherland must light, also today, all Cubans. To think according to the school of father Varela is necessary to know his own thinking and trained in his method of reflection. Everything you cherish the ideas, create dependency, and manipulate personal reflection, is extraneous to the school of thought of the father Varela, whose pedagogical essence is to learn the difficult art of thinking correctly with own head. Everything that fosters personal autonomy, self-esteem, the exercise of critical science, transparency and the free expression of the criterion is typical of his teaching. Happy Varela Morales continues to inspire our fight for a free and independent, Cuba with the radicalism that accompanied him until his death and which he harmonized and balanced with his kindness and intelligence.
Let us remember that in 1833, when the Spanish Crown granted him the pardon that would allow him to return to Cuba, he refuses, on the grounds that nothing to forgive, there was because its action was constitutional and not criminal. When he had nearly lost the vision, and the trembling of hands prevented writing and playing the violin, he remained until the last When faith in God and in Cuban youth. We are heirs and followers of his legacy, which combines the two large planes of the Cuban thinker: philosophy and politics. Cuban education has to revitalize this formative concept and bring it to the height of the need of the time, listen more carefully the views that come us from the tradition, which will mark the course of the country’s educational future. In the training field, we can do road to walk, as Antonio Machado said.
That would be thinking while you act or taking educational action without thinking, that it would be worse. The solution is the activated after having thought, that it is more convenient, to move forward in order to build our society as we want to and form the Cuban man who will live in the 21st century.
