National Education

A continuous perfectioning involving individual and collective values. It is through moral, physical, cultural and social it that it constitutes the intellectual formation, of the man. 3 Libneo (1985, p.97) defines education as: ' ' to educate (in Latin, educare) is to lead of a state to another one, is to modify in a certain direction what it is sucestvel of educao' '. Inside of practical the educative deed of division, ' ' education escolar' ' , the individual passes for stages in its life, since the birth until the adult age: the schools that they initiate with the infantile education, basic and average education. E, the universities that continue this process through specialized courses more as graduations and after-graduations. In what it says the Law of Lines of direction and Bases of the National Education, Law n 9,394, of 20 of December of 1996. Art. 1.

The education encloses the formative processes that if develop in the familiar life, in the convivncia human being, the work, the institutions of education and research, in the social movements and organizations of the civil society and in the cultural manifestations. In accordance with the official site of the MEC, with the approval of the first Law of Lines of direction and Bases of Educao (LDB), in 1961, was assured more autonomy for the municipal and state spheres, but only in 1968, occurred the university reform, that was the great LDB of education superior, assuring didactic-scientific autonomy, to discipline administrative and financial to the universities. The reform represented an advance in the Brazilian superior education, when instituting an only organizacional model for the public and private universities. The institutions of superior education in Brazil – they are public or private – are conducted under the norms of the Law of Lines of direction and Bases of the National Education who impose it a model to be followed, creating a uniformity in its educational formation.
